Wisdom from above is . . . full of mercy and good fruits

A Poem as I Contemplate Traveling to Connecticut from Florida

Autumn begins its chilling crawl
and spreads its teasing frost o'er all
the northern climes and shadowed sills
startling colors from leaves and hills.
While we in southern towns remain
in summer’s warmth, both gift and bane.

I'll bet you had mixed feelings about traveling again so soon!

I have just discovered your sermon from Sept. 20. It brought to mind the Inward/Outward offering that said to bring peace and justice, it is not what we must give that will bring change, but what we must give up. I've continued to chew on that.
