Wisdom from above is . . . full of mercy and good fruits
"Everyone who belongs to the Truth listens to my voice," Jesus says. We have the choice of belonging to other things, of course, and to listen to other voices. Even in a mainline, "liberal" denomination, this day is a day for making choices as to who we are and whose we are, and whether we really are committed to Belonging to the Truth.

THE quintessential Anglican hymn, IMHO, is I Sing A Song of the Saints of God. Now, take that lively, lovely song and place it in the midst of the despair of the disasters that surround us, and I think we have a clear way forward as a church: Being Saints When Disasters Strike.
