Wisdom from above is . . . full of mercy and good fruits
Early Christians were accused of being cannibals because people didn't understand what they meant when they said they were eating the Body and Blood of Jesus. My hunch is plenty of people today are pretty squeamish about that idea, too. How does eating Jesus give us eternal life? Similarly, what would someone get if they ate us? We Are What We Eat.

In baptism, we are anointed with oil, and marked forever as "little Christs." Is this fire insurance saving our sorry behinds from the flames of hell, or initiation into an exodus - a path from bondage to liberty?
