Wisdom from above is . . . full of mercy and good fruits
In the Old South, one's family determine one's status. The first question a stranger is asked is one of pedigree: "Who are your people?" The answer can open or close doors and minds. This Trinity Sunday, we need to ask our Triune God, what about you? Who are your people?

God is STILL pouring out the spirit on all flesh. The Spirit is the very air we breathe, because there is no thing, no time or place that is outside God. Thus inspired by the Spirit, what should the disciples of Jesus do? Forgive. Forgive anyone. Need more help from Spirit to do this? Just Breathe.
Jesus promises eternal life to those who believe in his name. What is that all about, anyway? Cindy tells us of her brother's encounter with this in today's sermon, You Who Believe in the Name of God's Son.

They're all so far, far away, those places where people are truly persecuted for their Christian faith.
