What Should We Ask For? - SERMON

On the one had, I truly admire the commitment of people like Harold Camping. On the other - and this is much bigger for me - I think the worst aspect of his type of approach to faith is that it relies on threats of mayhem to motivate people to convert to his way of thinking - whether that mayhem is in this world or the next.  I just don't think that's the Good News that Jesus came to live out and died proclaiming. YAY! IT'S OFFICIAL!!

Sooo very glad that Pastor Becky is officially [and forever] our priest at Church of the Good Shepherd. I can only see growth and good things to come and I'm truly glad I found a spiritual home so close in my proximity....it is truly a perfect fit! Paying Attention - SERMON
