Plagues have stalked humanity for thousands of years. Long before they had beautiful buildings and tons of resources, Christians knew what to do during a plague: bear fruit by loving each other as Jesus love us. That means caring, sharing, living and loving in a way that gives the whole community wholeness, holiness and health, bringing good morale to all. Easy? No. But real clear.

During the Great Weirdness which is the COVID-19 pandemic, there is so much fear, despair, and selfishness. Are these our destiny? It sure looked that way on Good Friday, didn't it? But our destiny is not Good Friday, it is Life - life to the fullest, which is Love. And, and who is God but Love? Read the sermon here.

The difference in the world between Ash Wednesday and Lent 3 is almost surreal. The rules haven't changed for Christians, though. Faith means action, even when there's a pandemic. Read the sermon here.

A recent interview in a secular magazine called our current global pandemic an "almost biblical" occurrence. We can walk on the waters of chaos now, just like Peter did - or started to until he panicked. So, maybe we shouldn't panic. Read the sermon here.
