Why We Are Here Today - SERMON

Some people snark about "Chreasters" or "Santa Bunnies" - the folks that come to church only on Christmas and Easter - but I think the reason people come to church today is to hear words spoken to the deepest yearnings of our hearts.  This is what I believe about Why We're Here Today.

Leading Like Jesus - SERMON

Palm Sunday is a day of highlighting how Jesus' message, Jesus' way of doing things, brought both joy and fear. Coming To Ourselves - SERMON

One scholar has said that Jesus' parable of the "Lost Son," or "Prodigal Son," is "the entire gospel in miniature." In this story of being lost and found, the pivotal point is when the wayward boy "comes to himself." When we begin Coming To Ourselves, we begin becoming whom God dreamed we would be when we were created.

What We CAN Do, and What We CAN'T Do - SERMON
