Gratitude and Humble Trust - SERMON

To be humble is not to be lowly, but grounded: knowing who you are, whose you are, whence you come.  A humble Christian is grounded in the knowledge that God created us, and created us to be integrated: whole, healthy and holy.  Trusting in that means to know what gifts gave you when he created you, and then using them to proclaim the Reign of God in and with your life.  If you think Good Shepherd is the kind of church that will help you do that, then please support us, not out of obligation…

Make the Dream Come True - SERMON

Choices.  Our choices depend on what we want, and what we want depends on where we think we are going.  Where we think we are going depends on what our underlying dream is.  As the church, our dream should be what God's dream is, and we can accept God's invitation to  Make the Dream Come True.

Labor, Love and Give - SERMON

I have a new respect for people on cooking shows:  I tried to make (literally!) Stewardship Salad, slicing and dicing in front of the congregation while giving the third of our annual giving campaign sermons, Labor, Love and Give.
